About Maklon Briket

Maklon Briket is an industry guide to coconut charcoal briquettes for brand owners, distributors and new businesses. It covers contract making, packing, quality, export and starting up.

An industry guide, not a brochure

The aim is to help you understand how the coconut briquette industry works before you spend money: how contract making runs, what overseas buyers ask for, why quality figures from two makers may not be comparable, and when buying a machine makes more sense than contract making. The articles name several producers, using only facts they publish themselves, with a link and a read date. There is no ranking and no superlatives.

Who publishes it, and where Kora stands

The site is published by PT Kora Prima Abadi, Ruko CBD Niaga Sentul, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia, trading as Kora Coconut. Kora is one of the producers discussed here. We say so that you know where we stand when you read a comparison.

Kora's product page states that private label is available and that it presses its own briquettes. This site gives no plant capacity, certificates or list of brands Kora has served, because none is published. The laboratory report Kora shows covers grade B samples only, so it is not used to judge grade A.

What it covers

It covers the process from brief to production, shapes and packaging, MOQ and terms, design ownership and a checklist for choosing a maker. The blog has guides on export, quality figures and starting a business. Two product pages describe Kora's services: briquettes under your own brand and a custom mould from your drawing.

Where figures and terms come from

Figures for other producers come from their own product pages, read on 22 October 2026, and are described as their claims, not our test results. Kora's trade terms come from Kora's product page: FOB or CIF at an Indonesian port, L/C at sight, T/T or escrow, and 1 kg inner packs in 10 kg master cartons. Anything else reads "set at quotation". A figure without a source is not shown, and the site makes no certification or environmental claim.

How to ask Kora for a quotation

If you want Kora in the comparison, write on WhatsApp at +62 813-1527-280 or by email to [email protected], or use the contact page. First reply within 2 business days.

Send a brief with the briquette shape, pack weight, your brand or artwork if it exists, the destination and the expected monthly volume. Leave confidential material out. For sensitive artwork, ask for a written confidentiality agreement first.

What to do next

Read the checklist for choosing a maker, then two articles: signing off a briquette sample in writing and how to export coconut charcoal briquettes.
